Goal Setting Activity

“The master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his information and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence at whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he's always doing both.” James A. Michener quotes (U.S. novelist and short-story writer, 1907-1997)

1. Write out in detail what your perfect 10 years from now looks like. Do not set any limitations. Sky is the limit!
2. What does that feel like? Write it down! (example: peace, complete, happy, blissful)
3. Write down what you have to do to make your future look like that in question 1.
4. Write down what you have to give up in order to get your future in question 1.
Summarize your goal, what you are willing to do, willing to give up and how you feel once you are living your dream. Put this on a 3 x 5 index card. Laminate it and keep it on you at all times. Read it several times a day.
Remember, your life today is a result of your actions in the past. You are in complete control of your tomorrow. Make it happen!
